As a leader in safety technology, Britax is providing an advanced level of rear-facing protection by adding an anti-rebound bar to select ClickTight convertible car seats.
According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) infants and toddlers are 5 times safer riding rear-facing until they are at least 2 years old. Our anti-rebound bar (ARB) is designed to take safety even further by reducing rebound movement in the event of a crash.
Raising the Bar
The ARB is a padded, steel bar that attaches to the foot-end of the ClickTight convertible car seats to account for rebound movement. It minimizes rotation by 40%, keeping your baby securely seated during rear, frontal and side impacts so all the other safety components can transfer the energy of the crash away from your little one.
With anti-rebound technology, we continue to raise the bar in rear-facing protection.
